Just Not Sure What to do With the Mess in My Head

Yesterday I had something rather unsettling said to me. Today I turn 33 and everything I thought I knew - about me, about my skills, my abilities, my successes - is turned on its head and I find myself second-guessing every piece of me. I'm left with a gaping hole in me and I can't even pinpoint where it is because every nook, every cranny just feels empty.

Thank God for great friends and good food. While it sure doesn't solve anything, it certainly takes the edge off.

And hopefully, 33 will be much better than 32. I say it will be.

Ok, so now I'm curious about what they said, but not knowing I will tell you - WHO CARES WHAT SOMEONE SAYS WHO IS JUST PASSING ON THEIR BAD MOOD? SO, GO AHEAD AND SAY THAT *BAD* WORD, #@&K OFF, AND REMEMBER THAT YOU HAVE IT GOING ON! - then I will tell you the number doesn't matter. You know the line from the movie )Mr. Mom), "Yeah, 220, 240, whatever it takes" (paraphrased since I haven't seen the movie in like 20 years). So - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!- go out and skip, or drink to much, or enjoy the fact that you got it going on so much that someone is jealous enough to be snide. You go girl!!!

Happy Birthday, I hope it was fantastic and man I would love to eat that cake....yummy! Of course, now I have to know that this "unsettling thing" is..you can't just put that out there without an explanation.
