Random Blurbs #12, 13, and 14

#12 Only in DC do you have to show your ID and go through security to go to the dentist. Or to buy lunch.

#13 Wearing a wrap dress in the wind? Maybe not the best idea.

#14 You teach a child things to stop them from whining and making you do it over and over just to have them master it and you wonder why the hell you ever taught them in the first place.

Random Blurbs #10 and #11

#10 Why is it, women with normal size boobs can wear cleavage-bearing clothes and it’s fine – it looks completely tasteful – no matter how much they’re showing. But when a large-breasted woman wears something slightly cleavage-bearing, it looks and comes across completely trampy? What’s up with that!? (Yeah, I had to go clothes shopping last night. Not so happy about it.)

#11 Sleeping with a toddler is terrifying and painful. (Terrifying because it’s painful)

Random Blurbs #9

I am sure I have mentioned at least a million times how much I love Heather over at OMSH. How I think she is an amazing writer and an amazing mother. She says things I think - but coming from her, they actually make sense and they even sound good! Her post today was no exception. And yet again, it was something I really needed today. Go check it out, it will make you feel good too!

Random Blurbs #6, #7 and #8

#6 Potty chair options suck. Why can't there be cute AND multi-functional? Geeze.

#7 There needs to be a Magic 8 ball that can tell you which decision really is the right decision. Eliminate the risk and guessing games. NOT a gambler here. Can yah tell?

#8 You know how most houses have sock monsters? We apparently have a sippy-cup monster. And just the cup, because I still have all the lids. What's up with that?

Random Blurbs #3, #4, and #5

- The flight from Chicago was a full one. A man went to sit down in the seat next to me. Madeleine screamed, "NO!" and then pointed and started crying hysterically. Oh how I wanted to climb under the seat and claim she was NOT mine.

- The other night we were hanging out on the couch and she was drinking her milk. After a few minutes, she handed it to me, curled herself up into her "sleeping ball" and started pretend snoring. Where'd that come from??

- Dropping her off at day care today was the hardest day since the day I came back from maternity leave. Well, that day wasn't even THAT bad, that one was pretty easy really. But this one? This one ripped my heart out, stomped on it and then proceeded to laugh at it and mock it for a good, long time.

Random Blurb #2

I had no idea Blue was a girl! Why did no one tell me Blue was a girl? A girl puppy? And I didn't smother my child with it from the second she was out of the womb? Okay... so maybe it's a good thing I didn't know Blue was a girl.

(Obviously I just suffered sat through my first episode of "Blue's Clues".)

Random Blurbs #1

Do you ever have those days where absolutely nothing is actually wrong but your brain just works overtime and gets the best of you and all you wanna do is get back in bed, crawl under the covers and cry yourself to sleep?

Just me then?
